To commemorate the Think Caribbean or Partnership Program, Rotary Zones 33-34 are hosting the Think Caribbean Celebration 2008 July 25-27th in Ft. Lauderdale Florida.

The objectives of this Celebration2008 are to :

* To promote fellowship and cultural exchange between clubs in the Caribbean and the Continental USA.
* To provide a further opportunity for clubs to find a twinning partner
* To share already achieved accomplishments
* To offer educational opportunities in leadership training and disaster planning
* To explore other avenues of partnerships between clubs and Districts
* To recognize and celebrate the initial successes of the Think Caribbean initiative

See Detailed Program Agenda: The agenda that has been planned is interactive, informative, and encourages fellowship. The conference format is casual and the planned atmosphere is spirited. There will be 6 sessions that each conference attendee will experience in a small group. The methodology of each session is open discussion and sharing.

* Disaster Planning
* Project successes and future opportunities
* Fellowship for current and prospective partners
* Opportunities and mechanics of world grants
* Developing communication processes

Speakers: 2007-2008 RI Director Barry Rassin; 2008-2009 RI Director Eric Adamson; renowned lecturer Dr. Sheldon Wood, Jr.; celebrated “mystery” guest.

Want to Find a Partner? We encourage any club interested in partnering with any other club to send their members to the Celebration. There will be plenty of time and opportunity allotted.

Friday Evening Excursions - Your Choice: (transportation included): Las Olas Blvd, downtown Ft. Lauderdale - quaint, upscale shops and excellent restaurants; Sawgrass Mills Shopping Mall - over 350 named brand stores and outlets; Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino with Las Vegas style gaming.

Saturday Evening Entertainment : Get ready to stomp your feet, clap your hands and maybe even take part in a conga line - Caribbean style.

Cost: We have tried to keep costs at a reasonable amount with room rates as low as $109 per night single/double with suites $149. And, the Conference Registration is only $195, which includes meals and all materials.
